Usually we try hard to tell you interesting and original stories. In the last episodes of our blog, we spoke about personalized videos and politics, financial advisors’ avatars, and the history of cloud computing. And that’s just to mention a few.
Every now and then though, please allow us to brag a little bit. Particularly, about our most recent success, that carries not one, but two names: ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. To understand what their meaning is, let’s take a quick step back.
First of all, these names stand for important international certifications issued by the International Organization for Standardization. And they are not mandatory. Having them is a way to show the attention we give to important and delicate issues, such as the protection of sensitive data. In 2016, we have told you how Doxee proudly obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for ‘Information technology, Security techniques, Information security management systems’. Today, with the same pride as two years ago, we announce that we were awarded with the latest version of this important and prestigious certification.
We have successfully passed the audit for the ISO 9001 certification, related to the newest version of the norm ISO 9001:2015. In detail, we have integrated two different SGQ systems (Quality Control Management) with ISO 9001 and 27001 into a single ‘Integrated Management System” that complies to both norms.
We know it, it’s a lot of numbers and acronyms, which you probably were not looking forward to hear. Let’s keep it simple then: why do these certifications make us so proud?
The reason is that they mean that we’ve been recognized as having excellence in the fields of business organization and process management. And this not only makes us very proud, it also makes our clients very happy. This recognition keeps us motivated at pursuing that journey of mutual trust built through years of working with countless clients and partners from around the globe. Managing their data while ensuring integrity, privacy and accessibility has always been at the very core of our work. And it feels good when our efforts are noticed and rewarded.
